Most people know that nail polish remover is applied during nail art, but what exactly is the layer of nail polish remover applied?

Nail polish, also known as UV nail polish, is an upgrade of nail polish. Nail polish consists of basic resin, photoinitiator, and various additives (such as pigments and dyes, rheological modifiers, adhesion promoters, tougheners, monomer diluents, crosslinking agents, solvents, etc.).

The nail polish adhesive consists of three layers: bottom coat adhesive, colored middle coat adhesive, and surface coat sealing adhesive. The bottom coat adhesive belongs to the adhesive resin base adhesive, which adheres to nature and provides a matrix for the combination of natural nail and photopolymer materials; The intermediate layer of coloring glue plays a role in shaping the shape of nails in nail polish glue; The surface coating adhesive is the last layer of nail art work, used to seal the nail glue and give the nail surface sufficient brightness.

Compared with traditional nail polish, nail polish glue can effectively solve the problems of drying speed and retention period. Its products have good gloss, transparency, toughness, no irritating taste, outstanding resistance, and are not easy to change color. In addition, the biggest feature of nail polish adhesive is that it can be completely dried after being applied and exposed to light for about 1 minute, which is the process of UV curing.

UV curing is the process of using a 200nm to 450nm photon source in ultraviolet light to irradiate, and under the action of a photoinitiator, the free radical polymerization of carbon carbon double bonds or cationic polymerization of epoxy and vinyl ether in the UV ink binder is carried out to dry the film. UV curing does not require a heat source, does not contain solvents, and can cure quickly. Therefore, this technology has been rapidly promoted and applied.

In terms of nail art effect, the nail art made with UV cured nail polish adhesive is less likely to cause the original nails to turn yellow, showing a crystal clear, glossy and transparent appearance. Moreover, the nails are more durable, have stronger tolerance to general solvents, and have a brighter color that is not easy to peel off. The disadvantage of this nail art is that it is difficult to remove the nails.

After undergoing nail removal treatment, it will have a certain negative impact on the natural nails. After removing the nail art, you can apply moisturizing cream or keratin oil. The special oil for the stratum corneum can nourish the contour of nails and help remove dead skin cells. Or soak your nails in premium olive oil for 10 to 15 minutes to help strengthen damaged, fragile, or easily breakable nails.
